Terms of Use

Last updated: June 7, 2026

By using WebColorTools (webcolortools.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Free to use

WebColorTools is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use the tools to convert colors, generate palettes, check contrast, and perform other color-related tasks without payment or registration.

Client-side utilities

The tools are browser-based utilities. Calculations and conversions run on your device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

Provided “as is”

WebColorTools is offered as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Color conversions, contrast ratios, accessibility suggestions, and other outputs are approximations intended as aids — always verify critical values independently before use in production.

Your responsibility

You use WebColorTools at your own risk. You are responsible for how you apply any results — for example, in design files, code, branding, or accessibility compliance. We are not liable for decisions you make based on tool output.

Your content

You retain ownership of anything you create using the tools — palettes, CSS, hex codes, exports, and similar output. We do not claim rights over your work.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebColorTools and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site or its tools, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by attempting to disrupt service, scrape the site in ways that impair performance, or use the tools for unlawful purposes.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the current version. Your continued use of WebColorTools after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WebColorTools operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
